An instinct to the do the right thing

Martin Horton considers how good instincts can influence the ability to do the right things.

Most people have good instincts – instincts to do the right things. As the 15th century philosopher, Marsilio Ficino, puts it in The Letters: ‘There's a knowledge that arises to meet the moment.'

But how often do we trust that knowledge as it arises, and act on those instincts. If you have ever been at the scene of an accident, you will have seen this play out.
