Local authorities in Scotland will receive £250m from the NHS as part of a ‘radical reform to the way social care is paid for,' deputy first minister John Swinney has said.

The new funding will support integration of health and social care and comes on top of £70m to continue the council tax freeze in 2016/17 for the ninth consecutive year.
