LHA-ASRA Group is a not-for-profit housing business formed through themerger of our two legacy organisations in 2005. Between us, we have over 30 years' experience in providing affordable housing and building sustainable communities across London, the South East and the EastMidlands, and an asset basewhich exceeds £500m.We also help to regenerate communities, creating places that people are proud of, and choose to live and invest in. An important part of our business is the delivery of culturally-sensitive services to the community, and we're particularly proud of ASRA's heritage as a strong BME-led organisation.

The last couple of years have seen us perform at an unprecedented level, with a range of awards and achievements across the business.We've developed real momentumand a hunger to build on our successes, so it's a pivotal time for the Group. Our ongoing comprehensive strategic review, with extensive input from Board, staff and customers - and our new Group Chair - will help us to develop a refreshed way forward and business plan. Sowe're looking for candidateswho can offer the leadership and strategic direction to make the most of our potential.

You'll grasp the scale of our ambition immediately, and start to make rapid progress on our principal strategic aims (amongst which are achieving 90% customer satisfaction and delivering 800 homes over the next four years). Working with our Chief Executive, an exceptional staff team and a talented Board, you'll bring leadership qualities and a constructively challenging style which will help us raise our game even further. You must be commercial, crediblewithin our sector, and a confident advocate and influencer in a range of local, regional and national settings.
