SOLACE president Mark Rogers explains to delegates at its annual summit why local government must be versatile and adaptable in order to stay relevant and credible

No, it's not the new inscription-of-choice on a long service certificate for some septuagenarian local government employee, although for many, it does capture the attempted zeitgeist of the last demi-decade.
