Former communities minister Sadiq Khan has been chosen as Labour candidate to run for London mayor next year.

Former communities minister Sadiq Khan has been chosen as Labour candidate to run for London mayor next year.

The MP for Tooting, who was a minister under Gordon Brown, is now the favourite to be next London mayor, ahead of millionaire Conservative MP and environmentalist Zac Goldsmith.
