The final two candidates in the Conservative Party leadership’s race have pledged to either review or abolish housing targets and protect the green belt.

The final two candidates in the Conservative Party leadership's race have pledged to either review or abolish housing targets and protect the green belt.

Rishi Sunak has accused Liz Truss of planning to build one million homes on the green belt around London, harking back to a pledge she made when a Treasury minister in 2019.
