'Leadership churn' blamed for 'inadequate' rating

‘Significant leadership churn’ has contributed to Harrow LBC’s children’s services slipping from ‘good’ to ‘inadequate’ in the last five years, according to Ofsted inspectors.

‘Significant leadership churn' has contributed to Harrow LBC's children's services slipping from ‘good' to ‘inadequate' in the last five years, according to Ofsted inspectors.

Inspectors said that since 2020 ‘significant leadership churn, including four directors of children's services and two chief executives, has contributed to a deterioration in the quality of service and practice for care leavers'.
