Levelling Up Fund timeframe slips

Secretary of state Simon Clarke promised an outcome by ‘the end of this year’.

The timeframe for announcing the second round of the £4.8bn Levelling Up Fund appears to have slipped, with secretary of state Simon Clarke promising an outcome by ‘the end of this year'.

Round Two of funding allocations was initially expected this autumn, but that was before the new secretary of state took office.
