Measures to tackle the clustering of betting shops in local communities have been criticised by the Local Government Association (LGA).

The Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee report on gambling has recommended that local authorities should have the power to allow betting shops to carry more than the current maximum of four B2 gambling machines per shop.
