A campaign to persuade the Treasury to change tack on regeneration funding is gaining momentum.

The Industrial Communities Alliance (ICA), which is made up of about 50 local authorities, is spearheading the effort to encourage Whitehall to take a longer-term approach to funding for local and regional development and consolidate the numerous levelling up funds.
