Six local authorities will trial the full integration of health and social care budgets through a new approach to ‘whole person care'.

Mr Burnham revealed Plymouth, Derbyshire, North East Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Islington and Gateshead had agreed to be whole person care innovation councils, and called on other authorities to join.
