Council leaders have raised concerns over the Local Government Association's (LGA) messaging in the wake of the Autumn Statement.

Some members of the executive advisory board voiced fears at a meeting this afternoon that the response that local government had fared ‘better than expected' meant some outside the sector now assumed it was financially secure.
