LGA wins battle for national audit body

A sector-led body will be allowed to run a national scheme that will make future audit appointments on behalf of councils.

A sector-led body will be allowed to run a national scheme that will make future audit appointments on behalf of councils.

The Department for Communities and Local Government has authorised Public Sector Audit Appointments (PSAA) to deliver the scheme from 2018/19.
