The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has said it will consider afresh whether to introduce new regulations as councils look to use derivatives.

A spokeswoman for the DCLG said the Government was ‘happy' to look at proposals expected to be submitted by Lancashire CC's chief investment officer, Mike Jensen.
