Strong, vibrant communities need great leaders, both politically and managerially, to thrive, Jo Miller told chief executives at their annual gathering last night. 

Speaking to the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) annual dinner, the Society's president reiterated the commitments in her inaugural speech – to champion diversity.
