London Councils is lobbying for millions of pounds from the Government agency being created to drive forward ministers' drive to boost clean energy.

Net zero secretary Ed Miliband has said Great British (GB) Energy would ‘work closely' with local authorities to ‘help accelerate Britain's pathway to energy independence'.
