Major incidents declared over COVID

Local resilience forums covering Northamptonshire, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent made the announcement today as the spread of the Omicron variant led to rising demand for services and reduced staffing levels.

Major incidents have been officially declared in Northamptonshire, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent as services come under pressure from a surge in COVID-19 cases.

Northamptonshire local resilience forum (LRF) and Staffordshire resilience forum made annuncements today as the spread of the Omicron variant led to rising demand for services and reduced staffing levels.
