Major shake-up in kids' safeguarding due

The current system of serious case reviews will be replaced as part of the ‘biggest shake-up in safeguarding children arrangements since the 1970s'.

Responding to a report on local safeguarding children boards by Alan Wood, the Government said it would establish an independent panel responsible for commissioning and publishing national reviews and investigating some of the most serious and complex cases.
