Metro mayors in England are pressing for competitive funding pots to be scrapped despite having benefited from the system.

Metro mayors in England are pressing for competitive funding pots to be scrapped despite having benefited from the system.

The mayors of Greater Manchester, West Midlands and West Yorkshire all told the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee yesterday they had been very successful in bidding to such funds compared to smaller local authorities.
