Shadow levelling up secretary Lisa Nandy has pledged the ‘biggest transfer of power out of Westminster in British history' if Labour wins the General Election.

However, in return she told councillors at the Labour Local Government Conference in Nottingham this weekend: ‘That will require the best of you to raise your game again.'
