The NHS should devolve more power to local authorities if it is to meet the increasing healthcare needs, a new report has argued.

The NHS should devolve more power to local authorities if it is to meet the increasing healthcare needs, a new report has argued.

The Local Health Service? published by the Fabian Society warned that many in the NHS believed there was a limit to the role councils can play in healthcare.
