The chief executive of North West Leicestershire DC, Bev Smith, has announced her resignation.

Ms Smith, who joined the council in 2017, is also a peer reviewer with the Local Government Association, board director of the East Midlands Development Corporation, and chairs the Leicestershire and Rutland Sports Partnership.
