The chief executive of Oxfordshire CC has said she will not resign after council services did not stop a child exploitation ring.

Joanna Simons, who has been chief executive at Oxfordshire since 2005, told the BBC the case was ‘the worst thing I've come across in 30 years in local government' but said she would not leave her role.
