Pay growth for local authority chief executives has ground to a halt - with median pay changes of 0% in the last year - according to the latest report into local government pay.

Pay growth for local authority chief executives has ground to a halt - with median pay changes of 0% in the last year - according to the latest report into local government pay.

The report, Senior executive pay in local government 2012 by Incomes Data Services (IDS), found that the average salary increase was 0.8%, equating to real term pay cuts for local authority chief executives.
