Penna research: Nearly 40% of chiefs now have 'place' background

EXCLUSIVE: Almost four out of 10 top-tier council chief executives now have a place background, research shared with The MJ has revealed.

Almost four out of 10 top-tier council chief executives now have a place background, research shared with The MJ has revealed.

The study by recruitment firm Penna found 59 out of 151 (39%) of top-tier chief executives previously focused on place in their careers. The next most common professional backgrounds were operations with 20% and finance with 16%.
