Pilots testing 75% business rates retention will come to an end, with no new pilots planned for 2020/21.

However, it is understood that the 100% business rates retention pilots in devolution deal areas – Cornwall, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, West of England and West Midlands – that were introduced in 2017/18 will continue in 2020/21.
