Planning inquiry leaves council with six-figure bill

Rother DC has been ordered to pay costs amounting to six-figures after failing to fend off a planning appeal.

A district council has been left with a six-figure legal bill after failing to fend off a planning appeal.

Planning inspector Lesley Coffey overturned Rother DC's refusal of permission for a business development on the Bexhill Enterprise Park.
