LGA chief executive says the sector needs to tell a better story so the public understands the benefits of care and health integration.

In the 25 years between 2010 and 2035, the number of people aged 85 and over will more than double to 3.5 million – that's half a million more than the current population of Wales.

The consequences for health are obvious: more patients with long-term conditions and a greater cost to the public purse.
