Cllr Gary Porter will become the new chairman of the Local Government Association (LGA) after standing unopposed for the post.

Cllr Gary Porter will become the new chairman of the Local Government Association (LGA) after standing unopposed for the post. 

As the nominations for the next Conservative chairman closed today, the leader of South Holland DC was the only candidate.
