During times of adversity, such as those we have been facing recently, LGcomms has been consistently clear that we must not downgrade our ability to communicate.

It is precisely when budgets are being slashed, jobs lost and services cut that we need to communicate even better with staff and residents and in a way that builds understanding, wins trust and ultimately, keeps people onside.

In this sense, we have a real success story to tell about local government in the UK.
In recent years, when trust in business and political leaders has continued to fall, we have seen local government buck the trend and become more trusted.
