Injecting more money into prevention could deliver an extra £11bn return on investment on current spending commitments, a report has found. 

The analysis by the NHS Confederation and Carnall Farrar identified providing free leisure services to residents and adapting homes to prevent falls as among the top five interventions in terms of return on investment.
