The forthcoming Budget takes place against challenging fiscal conditions and the Local Government Association's written submission to Government reflects this.
Based on our Local Government White Paper, our submission has identified eight priorities. The first relates to the need for a significant, sustained increase in funding and multi-year finance settlements, as well as greater certainty over financial reforms.
