The public service landscape is changing rapidly and the private sector needs to respond accordingly says John Tizard.

The public sector is changing. There are structural changes in the NHS, police, welfare programmes and schools. There is a growing interest in service provision by social enterprise, employee and user led co-operatives; and a greater role for voluntary, community and third sector organisations.
