Reading is 'ahead of the game' on BIDS

Reading’s second Business Improvement District is believed to be the first one in a town uniquely aimed at a business area.

Reading has voted in favour of two parallel Business Improvement Districts (BIDS) in what is believed to be a first for an English town.

Businesses in the town centre voted to renew the Reading Central BID and to create a new one for the Abbey Quarter Commercial District.
