Record turnover but fall in profits for Wates

Developer Wates Group recorded its highest-ever turnover last year, but reported a drop in profits.

Developer Wates Group recorded its highest-ever turnover last year, but reported a drop in profits.

The firm's turnover rose by 17% in 2022, reaching £1.89bn, but recorded profits of £33.7m were down £2.2m or 6% compared to 2021.
