Regulator gets top council job

The chief executive of Scotland’s social care regulator has been appointed boss of Perth & Kinross Council.

The chief executive of Scotland's social care regulator has been appointed boss of Perth & Kinross Council.

Karen Reid, who heads the Care Inspectorate, will take over from Bernadette Malone, who is retiring after occupying the top job for the last 15 years.
