Last week, the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) hosted a conference in Stockton On Tees BC which explored energy efficiency v renewable energy.

The essential question is: Which do you need – and why? The answer, of course, is that you need both, and in a balanced approach, together with the third element, which is a strategy to use less energy in the first place.
