Our response to COVID was delivered through collaboration, not in isolation

The pandemic has opened up many opportunities for Hampshire DC and Havant BC to work alongside partners from the health service and ensure better outcomes for residents, says Gill Kneller.

We have learned many things about ourselves as a local authority during the pandemic. The maxim ‘necessity is the mother of invention' was never truer than over the last year, as we found a whole raft of ways to meet the challenges of remote working.

One of the lessons I have learned has not been technological, but much more personal, particularly when it comes to improving health provision in our area.
