Review questions benefits of shared services provider

A review of LGSS found ‘no evidence’ the councils benefited through sharing some services.

A shared services provider is to be overhauled due to unfair levels of funding put in by the partners.

A review of LGSS, which is co-owned by Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire CCs and Milton Keynes Council, has also found that there was ‘no evidence' the councils benefited through sharing some services.
