We all like a good celebration! The Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) marks its silver jubilee this year.

And it was fun to be in the House of Lords on 16 January with The MJ's Mike Burton, who was celebrating his 25 glorious years with The MJ. How our sector has moved on from 1987. As, indeed, has local government.
