Birmingham City Council's chief executive has vowed to be tougher with his corporate leadership team (CLT) as he attempts to speed up the council's improvement.

Writing on his blog, Mark Rogers said he would be ‘less patient with those off message' as he drives forward reform of the council's corporate governance.
