Local government secretary James Brokenshire has signalled a possible change to the rules to help councils facing an influx of London's homeless.

Speaking in the House of Commons this week, Mr Brokenshire said he will look at ‘where burdens lie' after Conservative MP for Harlow, Robert Halfon, accused London boroughs of ‘social cleansing'.
