Scottish Borders Council Depute Chief Executive – 2 Posts People & Place

Circa £105,000

The newly created posts of Depute Chief Executive are wide ranging roles, delivering a diverse range of services to our community. Many of these are delivered in partnership with other public bodies, the third/ private sector and the local community.

You will be a key member of the Council's Executive Management Team who along with the Chief Executive will be the main interface between the Elected Members and the offi cers employed to serve the organisation and the community. You will drive corporate strategy and ensure corporate objectives are delivered.

Scottish Borders Council continues to build on the transformational change programme introduced over recent years. Against a backdrop of challenging budget constraints and fi nancial uncertainty, we are determined to extract maximum value from the introduction of innovative service models.
