Councils have saved nearly £250m by sharing services, according to new figures released by the LGA.

Councils have saved nearly £250m by sharing services, according to new figures released by the Local Government Association.

The figures also show that at least 337 local authorities in England are sharing at least one service, with a further £169m in savings expected from these arrangements in the next few years.
