Slough Council’s under-pressure leader, Cllr Sohail Munawar, has ordered an independent review into the recruitment of a new chief executive and senior officers.

Slough Council's under-pressure leader, Cllr Sohail Munawar, has ordered an independent review into the recruitment of a new chief executive and senior officers.

The announcement comes after the council's appointments sub-committee dismissed concerns about the proposed appointment of Roger Parkin as chief executive.
