The Government will be bringing forward proposals later this year for the reform of social care, says secretary of state for health and care Matt Hancock.
Mr Hancock made the pledge to delegates at the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) spring seminar. He said the Government had made a clear Manifesto commitment ‘to set out the reforms that are needed for the long term future of social care, and to fix the system that has been unreformed for far too long'.
