My new blog has gone down well with staff. Feedback suggests my musings about life as the executive director for finance and resources at Lambeth LBC, a harassed dad of three, and a keen follower of rugby have been met with good grace.

I had been looking for a new way to communicate with my staff for some time which would allow me to get the key messages about the business of the department and the council across, but also let me put a personal stamp on things too.
