The current state of public finances are ‘no way to run a country,’ SOLACE president Jo Miller told council chiefs at their annual conference.

The current state of public finances are ‘no way to run a country,' SOLACE president Jo Miller told council chiefs at their annual conference.

Hitting out at the lack of coherent spending plans, Ms Miller said: ‘No [financial] plan from 2020 os terrifying, inept, grossly unfair and no way to run a country.'
