Southampton announces acting chief executive

Mike Harris will take over from the current chief executive, Sandy Hopkins, who will be leaving the council later this month.

Southampton City Council has announced the appointment of Mike Harris as its acting chief executive.

Mr Harris will take over from the current chief executive Sandy Hopkins, who will be leaving the council on Monday.
