The chancellor has protected the funding of schools in real times, promising to allocate funds more fairly.

The chancellor has protected the funding of schools in real times, promising to allocate funds more fairly.

George Osborne said the budget for education will increase to £53bn, with the schools capital budget to be set at £4.6bn in 2015-16. He has also said reforms to funding will ensure equal distribution of funding across the country.
